White Oak Open Rise Stairs

These clients requested a white oak open rise staircase so we designed this stairs with their specific ideas in mind.  This open rise design allows the light to flow while using a stub riser it complies with safety regulations. They also requested the first first to be open rise. 

They opted for elegant full square newel post with metal caps and full square spindles for the balustrade on both the stairs and landing area. They also used white oak wall capping on the studded wall on the landing.
