Concrete stairs wrapped in white oak

This client opted to have their concrete staircase fully covered in white oak material to give the apperence of a solid hardwood cut string stair finish. It started with a large base which we manufactured to slip over the straight first step of the stairs. By adding a rounded step to the beginging of a stright concrete stairs enhances the overall look of the staircase.

These clients picked concra newel posts and balusters which are a mix of square contemporary and turned classic styles. They decided to plaster the side of the concrete stairs intead of added a side string and used the brackets on the plaster.
